Magical Maidens 2026/2027 Sister Circle Program

What is the Program?

Magical Maidens is a fun and empowering 9-month in-person wellness program in the Phoenix area, featuring monthly sister circles and day retreats where preteen and teen girls build confidence, learn to navigate friendships and boundaries with greater ease, and gain knowledge about puberty from an empowering lens—plus, half of the gatherings include meaningful opportunities to bond with their moms!

Our core Magical Maidens program is for girls age 9-13. We have three groups of Magical Maidens, one that meets one Tuesday a month, and two groups that meet one Saturday a month, with no more than 1:10 teacher to student ratio.  We have once-a-month curriculum-based sister circles, as well as two Day Retreats for mothers and daughters, a family picnic, and bonus social events, crafting circles, etc. led by community members, thought our 9 months together.

We have an additional Magical Maidens program for girls age 13-19, called Magical Maidens Leadership Circle. This is a ten-month mentorship program for girls ages 13–19 who have completed the Magical Maidens 9–13 journey. Limited to just eight participants, this immersive path blends sacred leadership training, mentorship of younger maidens, and opportunities to practice guiding meditations, centering tools, and sister circles. With five private gatherings, hands-on leadership experience, and participation in all major events, this program helps elder maidens step into their power as role models and heart-centered space holders within our community.

Each circle begins with a centering mindfulness practice. We combine the programs together for a few special occasions, throughout the 9 months.  We also have several circles in the program where moms and daughters come together to explore topics such as the menstrual cycle, from an empowering context, including understanding our moods and emotions, how eating foods from nature supports our health, as well as social emotional issues such as body image, peer pressure, social media, gossip, and bullying, to share ideas & questions, and to bond in a real and lasting way.  

We wish we had something like this when we were their age!

Magical Maidens, in its 7th year here in the Valley, was created to honor the girls in this important time in their lives. In the program, we share critical information about how to stay healthy... physically, mentally, and emotionally.  Through this program, we celebrate the female body, the menstrual cycle and moon cycles, foster personal empowerment and sisterhood among girls, and we learn and grow together.

Why is this Important?

With 38% of adolescent girls diagnosed with anxiety and over 20% diagnosed with depression, we know our girls need us now.

Girls are feeling high pressure to succeed in school and experiencing the highest levels of social anxiety in history. They also contend with constant comparison of their bodies to unattainable standards of beauty in media, as well as the unrelenting unrealistic pictures of what it seems like life "should" be like, as they view the highlight reels of their peers' lives and influencers' lives on social media. 

The time is now to show up powerfully for our girls by connecting them with their inner guidance, connecting them with other girls who are interested in real-life sisterhood, connecting them to tools to support social/emotional balance, connecting them to the knowledge of their bodies and their natural cycles, and to empower them with leadership skills that support them in paving the way for a healthy future.

Who Facilitates the Groups?

This group is facilitated by Jennifer Hoeprich, a Licensed Midwife in the Valley for over 15 years, a Certified Meditation Teacher, mama to a son and daughter, and Creator of Magical Maidens, Debbie Chamberlain, an educator with over 20 years of experience in Arizona public schools, ACEs Consortium Trainer, and Mindfulness Instructor, and Lanita England, Certified Trauma-Informed Mindfulness Educator who has worked within Arizona schools for over 8 years, 500-Hr Yoga Instructor, and Certified Equine Assisted Learning Instructor. 

Spaces for this exclusively in-person group are limited. Participation is $777 per Maiden, for the entire 9-month program.  However, we have early-bird discounts of $200 off currently in effect.... only $555 or $47/month for 11 empowering, educational and fun events, over 9 months, plus invaluable connections with likeminded & like hearted girls!

Magical Maidens Nine-Month Sister Circle Program Includes:

• Three sister circle workshops for moms and maidens to come together, as we connect with the topics listed above, including herbal body product crafting, social-emotional health, physiology of the menstrual cycle, positive self-talk, crafting mood sprays, and more.
• Five maidens-only sister circle workshops where the girls explore leadership, healthy boundary-setting, avoiding and dealing with gossip, why it's recommended to wait on social media, instinct & intuition development, age-appropriate anatomy & art of the female reproductive system (without any sex ed instruction) and more.
• A Day Retreat where all age groups and moms come together to learn about and celebrate body-positivity, followed by a dance party for the girls!
• A day at the Ranch, where the girls get to experience an Equine-Assisted Learning Session and learn Basic Horsemanship, as well as leadership training, as they observe, groom, and lead therapy horses. 
• A family potluck picnic in the park
• Three bonus circles just for moms & free admission to the Ostara Family Festival  in March
• Graduation Ceremony 
• An Epic Mother/Daughter Day Retreat in May
