If we haven't met, here's a little about me, and my Reiki journey!

In 2005, I found myself in extreme jaw pain, seemingly overnight, unable to open my mouth more than an inch, and unable to chew food. After seeing an MD and a dentist, I was diagnosed with Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder, or TMJD. The cartilage in my jaw had worn down, and I was experiencing bone on bone grinding in my jaw, causing inflammation and pain. I was told that this was incurable, as cartilage in this area does not grow back, and that for the rest of my life, I would need to take anti-inflammatory medications daily, receive steroid injections regularly, and wear a specially fitted mouth brace while I slept, every night. There were risks with these medications, especially with longterm use, and the mouth brace alone was an expense of $2,000, after insurance. 

This was disconcerting, to say the least, and I began to feel hopeless, as I scheduled my appointment for the mouth brace fitting, and lived on a liquid diet for the next two weeks. 

Sometime during these two weeks, I remembered that a doula colleague of mine was also a Reiki practitioner. I knew very little about Reiki, but I understood that it was useful in treating a variety of mental, physical, and emotional issues. I reached out to my colleague and asked if she thought this could possibly help. She asked her mentor, who provided her with a protocol for treating TMJD, and she let me know she'd love to see if this could provide some support. 

She recommended an initial treatment of two sessions in one week, and then a reassessment for going forward. I saw her for our first session the next day, which was an hour long, and very relaxing and restorative. She also recommended that I begin taking an anti-inflammatory homeopathic remedy, called Arnica. 

The next morning, I could open my jaw an additional two inches, and the pain was reduced by half. The next session, two days later, was, again, very relaxing and rejuvenating.  The next morning, I woke up pain-free, with minor soreness, and could open my mouth all the way. Within two days, I was eating normally. 

I had one more Reiki session, the following week, and felt completely normal at that time. I cancelled all medical treatments and continued on the arnica for about two weeks. To this day, 20 years later, I can eat anything I want, aside from steak and almonds, and I have never experienced a relapse. 

This was my introduction into the power and effectiveness of Reiki.

I went on to obtain my Reiki I certification shortly after, and then Reiki II.  I continued taking Reiki I and II from various teachers, as I loved to be immersed in different styles and practices. I  obtained my Reiki Master Certification in 2020, and my Reiki Master Teacher Certification in 2021.  I have taken Reiki I, II, II and IV from two other practitioners, since that time, including international bestselling author of Reiki Essentials, Diane Stein, as I love continued learning! And, I have now been teaching and certifying Reiki practitioners for close to 5 years, spreading the joy of Reiki!

Reiki Master (Reiki III) Certification Retreat A 24 Hour Immersive Training & Attunement

Get ready, because this one is going to change you. This is a full 24 hour immersion into the next evolution of your Reiki path, held in the energetic embrace of Sedona herself... red rocks, vortexes, and the space to actually BE in your training instead of rushing back to real life. This is where mastery gets to land in your body, not just your mind.

🌟 What Unfolds in Our 24 Hours Together

We'll begin by settling into our AirBNB and opening a Welcome Circle, crafting our own Reiki infused Chakra Balancing Sprays, little bottles of medicine to carry us through this journey and beyond. After a shared lunch together at home, we'll stay right there to sit with one powerful question, what does being a Reiki Master mean to you? This is where we go inward before we go further, learning the Dai Ko Myo and Raku symbols and preparing to receive them.

We'll then depart for Peace Park, gathering at the Medicine Wheel there to set our intentions for our Reiki Master practice. As the sun sets over the rocks, we'll receive our Cord Cutting Symbol Attunement (Raku) right in that golden setting sunlight, clearing old cords and completing cycles with clarity and compassion. So.much.RELEASE. After an optional dinner together, we'll hold a Reiki Share, hands on practice and connection, before an early night because tomorrow we rise with the sun.

Our second day begins before dawn, sipping Madam Takata juice as we make our way to the top of the balance vortex on 11/11 to receive our Reiki Master Symbol Attunement (Dai Ko Myo) at sunrise, the highest frequency of Reiki energy and the unlocking of your next level of healing gifts. We'll hold mini sessions with one another, send Reiki to our beloveds, and collect juniper from the land before an included breakfast at a local juicery.

Then comes training in advanced practice, Psychic Surgery, a deep technique for identifying, lifting, and releasing energetic blockages from the auric field. (I know it sounds intense, but you are SO ready for this.) We'll close in a Smoke Bundle Wrapping ceremony before the moment we've been building toward... receiving your Reiki Master Certificate and one final Reiki Boost to carry home with you, forever changed.

Reiki III anchors you into the identity of a Reiki Master Practitioner... someone who uses Reiki daily, lives the principles, and walks through the world as a healing presence. This certification sets you apart, and graduates are eligible to continue into Reiki Master Teacher (Reiki IV) training, learning to pass attunements and teach your own classes.

Space is  limited to keep this container sacred and intimate. If your soul is already saying yes, don't wait on this one.

Prerequisites: Reiki II Certification at least 6 months prior OR  at least 13 Reiki sessions completed for others, after Reiki II certification, and prior to attending Reiki Master Retreat.
