2023 Medicine Mama
How does a weekend getaway connecting with both western and indigenous plant medicine experiences sound, to you?
This is our second year, holding this transformative retreat!
In sisterhood, we'll be crafting a healing salve made from Juniper berries we gather ourselves as well as lavender from the local lavender farm that we'll visit together.
We'll be in the forest together, digging our hands in the Arizona dirt, for quartz crystals.
We'll be connecting with nature, at Horton creek, during a Medicine Walk.
We'll be enjoying an herbal bath bar, and a candlelit bath, all to ourselves.
We'll be using food as medicine, enjoying delicious meals prepared together and by our hosts.
We'll craft Juniper smoke bundles, to bring this retreat energy home, and to cleanse our living space.
And, we'll be learning about and enjoying plants as medicine, for our minds, bodies, and spirits, around the fire.
If this is for you, register today! This intimate retreat is for 10 ladies. We can't wait to gather with you!
Our retreat begins on Friday evening and ends Monday morning.
It includes beautiful shared or private accommodations for three nights, all supplies and materials, as well as all 8 meals!

Andrea & Jen!
Tobacco is a sacred plant used by North and South American indigenous peoples for
tens of thousands of years. Tobacco is used in its various forms depending on the local
environment and the culture it is prescribed to. It is used to give thanks to Mother Earth
and to send prayers to our Ancestors via Father Sky. We will be using 2 traditions
throughout our medicine retreat.

We'll also craft Juniper smoke bundles, from the Juniper we will respectfully collect at Diamond Point, to bring this retreat energy home, and to cleanse our living space. We will make offerings back to the land, including cornmeal and picking up trash.

*Please note, an integration period is very helpful, after retreat, even if just for a few hours. The drive time is very supportive of this, and eating lunch by yourself or with your sisters from retreat can be very beneficial. In any case, we recommend that you set it up with your partners and children that you will not be making dinner nor having household responsibilities on Monday night, to allow for this relaxed integration period.
We understand that busy mamas may sometimes discover reasons why they cannot take this time away, after they have registered, and that life happens. While we do not offer refunds, you are welcomed to transfer your retreat to another mama, prior to the start of the retreat.
